Tips

1. When blanching pork trotter, add 5-6 ginger slices to remove blood taste.

2. Pork trotter is hard to make it soft, thus you can use a pressure cooker to stew in order to save more time.

Cut pork trotter into small pieces. Blanch into boiling water until cooked.

Soak dried turnip into the water for 1 hour, then remove from water and drain. Wash and clean red dates.

Add water to a stew spot. Bring to a boil, then add all ingredients and stew over a small fire. Stew for 3 hours. Add salt and chicken powder. Serve.
