Add chicken powder if you like a strong taste. The authentic taste of lotus root and snow peas should be light with shrimp smell.

Soak dried shrimps into the water, then wash and cut into strips. Remove pedicle and tips of snow peas.  Wash and slice red peppers. Wash lotus root, peel and cut into strips.

Add oil and fry lotus root and red peppers until cooked. Add shrimp to fry until well done.

Season with salt. Drizzle with sesame oil before serving.
