Tips:
- Use dried abalone only, because it is the best ingredient to spread seafood flavor into the soup. Fresh abalone has a fishy taste and is hard to diffuse its seafood flavor over the dish.
- Simmer over 30 minutes to has a better taste. It enables all ingredients to have enough time and heat to mix their flavor. And soft was melon taste better.

Prepare all ingredients. Soak dried abalone in the water for 2 hours until soft. Then cut into strips. Do not discard the water, use it for soup later. Soak black fungus in the water, then cut into small pieces. Peel winter melon into slices. Wash Goji until clean, then soak into boiling water until soft. |
