Steamed beef with flour is one of the traditional famous dishes in Sichuan province. It belongs to Sichuan cuisine. Since many people love the light taste of the steaming dish, this dish is no chili with a fresh rice and beef taste. It is suitable for people who cannot eat chili. And it is healthier.

Tips:

  1. Marinating beef before steaming. Since beef tenderloin is tender and easy to cook so that shorten the cooking time.
  2. You can purchase rice flour for steaming in China town or Chinese market. It will save a lot of time for cooking.

Wash the beef tenderloin. Cut it into large pieces and put them into a bowl. Add cooking wine, soy sauce, ginger powder, and five-spice powder. Mix well and let it sit for 20 minutes.

Add rice flour, salad oil, salt, and chicken powder. Stir well until beef slices are coated with rice flour. Carefully place the beef slices in the steaming plate piece by piece.

Bring the steamer to a boil. Put in the steaming plate. Steam for 20 minutes over high heat.

Topped with chopped green onions and serve hot.
